Proxy and VPN tools route your traffic through another server for privacy, access to a work network, or getting around network restrictions. The list includes commercial VPN clients, scripts for running your own VPN server and clients for proxy protocols like Shadowsocks and Clash.

Mullvad VPN is a paid privacy-focused service with an open source app, and Cloudflare WARP is a free client for Cloudflare's network. Algo deploys your own WireGuard and IPsec VPN on a cloud server, and Hiddify and ShadowsocksX are proxy protocol clients. Whichever you choose, you are trusting whoever runs the servers, so check the operator and their logging policy.
